Flow and Heat Transfer Characteristics Analysis in Vane Trailing Edge Assembled Unit
By using a certain foreign model engine vane trailing edge as the object of study, flow and heat transfer characteristics in a contracted channel with complex arrangement of pin fins has been researched. The following conclusions were obtained: As the Reynolds number increases, flow of each segment tends to average and total pressure loss coefficient decreases; total pressure losses of the two segments close to inlet are significantly larger than the other three; as the Reynolds number increases, the average convective heat transfer coefficient increases and the average temperature of wall decreases; convective heat transfer performance of blade root is poor, due to local low flow rate.
