Micro-turbojet Engine Reliability Analysis Based on Causality Diagram
In order to conduct reliability analysis of complex systems of aero-engines, this paper proposes an approach based on the Causality Diagram which is initially utilized to investigate applications of failure analysis and reliability analysis, and then used to compare the obtained results with outcomes of traditional Fault Tree Analysis. The approach takes rupture or casing penetration failure of micro turbo-engines as a failure object. The results show that, for the reliability analysis of complex systems of aero-engines, the method of Causality Diagram is more appropriate and effective.
