Effects of Structural Damping on Vibration Response of Compressor Blade
Its difficult to use sophisticated theoretical analytical methods during the process of vibration. In order to put out suggestions for improving, an approximate calculation for structural damping was presented. Structural damping is defined in the form of Rayleigh, which is achieved by calculating the Rayleigh parameters a and β. In the role of harmonic excitation, vibration response of blade is studied with the software ANSYS. Effects of structural damping on vibration response of blade are analyzed further. Analysis and suggestion have reference values for understanding the essence of vibration problems.
