Modeling and Simulation Based Turboprop Engine Control Technology
A type of turboprop engine acceleration features and regulation analysis based on a core engine model was carried out. The combination of core engine model and fuel-propeller integrated mechanism was detailed. Fuel-propeller integrated model was built up for further Proportional Integral Differential (PID) controller design. Based on the integrated model, a close-loop controller engine was designed. A feedforward section was added to the system for engine power overshoot constraint Simulation validation was evaluated and verified by comparing the experimental rig test data and simulation output data.
