The application of support vectors selection method based on genetic algorithm to aeroengine thrust estimation
In this paper, a method based on Genetic Algorithm (GA) is proposed to select the reduced set of reduced Least Squares Support Vector Regression (RLSSVR), and the presented approach is used for aero-engine thrust estimation. With the aid of GA which has excellent global optimization ability, the support vectors that forming the reduced set are selected from the total training set A RLSSVR thrust estimator of certain aero-engine is designed based on the reduced set, and the simulations demonstrate that the proposed scheme can satisfy the requirements of aero-engine in thrust estimation. Meantime, the efficacy of the presented method is also valid.
