Research on Component-level Startup Model for a Turbo-shaft Engine
The component-level startup model for a turbo-shaft engine is established which can simulate the whole startup process from near static to idle condition. Firstly, based on the stage-stacking method, the low-speed characteristics are obtained. Secondly, the turbo-shaft engine startup model is then developed based on the component-matching principle, with the influence of the combustion efficiency variation and the heat conservation between the gas and the metal taken into account. The simulation results show that the accuracy of the real-time model is good. The model can be utilized for semi-physical simulation, as well as conducting the startup control design.
