A Study on the Roles of Chinese Media Coverage in Disaster Management

摘要：

The public crisis is a global problem, which has also won the Chinese widespread attention. How to resolve the public crisis and how to reduce crisis are important issues that the Chinese government faces. However, the crisis cannot be solved solely on the strength of the government. The importance of media organizations have been visualized, realized and emphasized in different aspects. Based on the status analysis of Chinese media coverage in disaster, corresponding roles of media in different disaster cycle phases are studied.
