The development of Urban Earthquake Disaster Management Information System in China

摘要：

This paper gives a comprehensive introduction of the urban earthquake disaster management information system (UEDMIS) developed in China. As a result of the urban earthquake disaster predication projects which were support by China Earthquake Administration and local government, UEDMIS is a professional software system which is used to manage the earthquake disaster related information, predicate the economic loss and casualty of a certain scale earthquake disaster, and supply information and analysis models for decision making. An overview picture of the development process of the software system and its typical things were introduced first. Then the framework, the database, the models were introduced one after another. The components of the software and some sample cases were described at last.
