Research on Quantitative Relativity between Average 10-days Air Temperature and Ground Elevation Based on Focal Analysis of DEM
Supported by ArcGIS software, adopting focal analysis and correlation analysis methods, using 10-days air temperature, based on digital elevation model(DEM), relativity between average 10-days air temperature during 1997-2006 and ground elevation in Heilongjiang Province has been work out. The results show that there are higher relativity between average 10-days air temperature and ground elevation but different correlation coefficients in each 10-days period, representing larger correlation coefficients between average 10-days air temperature and the function value of elevation mean within approximate 50 km radius of focal neighborhood and those in crop grow periods are greater than that in other periods. All maximal correlation coefficients all 10 days are between -0.4889-0.8209 with an average of-0.6905. The result of this study has a great significance to air temperature interpolation in the course of agro-climatic resources research.
