Numerical Investigation of Jet Interaction Flow Field Using High-order Low-dissipative Scheme
This paper presents a parametric study to determine the influence of jet and freestream conditions on the interaction forces induced by a two-dimensional secondary jet. A kind of high-order, high-resolution and low-dissipative numerical scheme is used. An analytical model for boundary layer separation induced by secondary jet injected into super-and hypersonic flow is discussed. Generalized correlations show that the entire problem scales directly with jets terminal height. The jet-induced interaction force can be related directly to the pressure levels induced in the upstream separation region.
