Safety Factors Affecting the Rejected Takeoff on Short Runways and Countermeasures

Takeoff is a key phase in flight missions. The pilot may need to reject the takeoff in the event of emergency. Should improper action be taken to reject a takeoff, serious accidents such as overrun would occur, which would affect the safety in the flight. By the calculation of the rolling length in the takeoff and according to the decision speed and the takeoff weight, this paper analyzes the factors that affect the safety of rejected takeoff, and based on the test results of the effects on flight simulators, it proposes safety measures for the rejected takeoff on short runways, so as to maximize the safety during rejected takeoff.
