The Loop of the Coplanar Flying-around Maintenance Based on the Relative Orbit Decline Rate

As theatmosphere drag force acted on the near-earth orbit is the most evident factor, this paper analyses the influence of the atmosphere drag perturbation on coplanar flying-around formation configuration. Due to the parameters of the mass and the shape are different between the main satellite and the concomitant satellite, the atmosphere drag perturbation causes different rates of orbit decline. After the coplanar flying-around formation, the concomitant satellite will quickly excursion from the main in the reference orbit plane, the coplanar flying-around formation will be no longer. To solve the problem of coplanar flying-around configuration excursion, it derives the arithmetic of orbit maneuvers of coplanar flying-around and constructs the loop of coplanar flying-around maintenance based on the parameter of relative orbit decline rate. The arithmetic of orbit coplanar flying-around maintenance settles the important problem of the maximum duration of coplanar flying-around maintenance with the atmosphere drag effect Simulation computations indicate the arithmetic of coplanar flying-around formation and maintenance is correct and validity.
