Target Observability Enhanced Impact Angle Control Guidance Law Using Composite Non-linear Feedback Control
This paper describes the target observability enhanced guidance law as well as the impact angle control guidance law for a stationary or a slowly moving target The proposed guidance law is designed based on an impact angle control guidance law with trajectorymodulation using composite non-linear feedback (CNF) control. This guidance law is derived in the linearized impact angle frame and uses feedback of lateral miss distance and velocity with respect to the impact angle frame. The proposed guidance law can lead to zero lateral miss distance and velocity at terminal time so that it can satisfy the terminal impact angle constraint. By using composite non-linear feedback methodology, the proposed guidance law is designed to change the damping ratio of the guidance loop. Since the damping ratio of the guidance loop can be designed arbitrarily, various trajectory modulations are available to improve the target observability. Finally, the performance of proposed guidance law is evaluated and demonstrated by number of simulation.
