A Study on Separating Force between Laminate Composite Part and Tool

The precise dimension ofa finished composite strongly depends on the part and tool interactions. The interactions mostly arise due to difference between coefficients of thermal expansion (CTEs) of the part and tool. In this study, the thermal interaction between composite part and composite tool is investigated experimentally and computationally.
