Two-stage High Vacuum Supersonic Air Ejector Numerical Study

The research of two-stage high vacuum supersonic air ejector has very important academic value and application prospect in hypersonic propulsion and aerospace ground testing. This paper presents a two-stage high vacuum supersonic air ejector configuration and simulates the flow field by solving two-dimensional Navier-stokes equations with time-dependent method. Results show that two-stage ejector requires less work pressure and provides lower vacuum degree compared to single-stage ejector; the load flow has a significant influence on the flow field structure; lower total pressure leads to the shock wave structure promoting inward through the diffuser; when fixing one stage at a suitable state, the other stage presents a wide adjustment range that is conducive to the fluctuation of the load flow and improvement of the injection coefficient.
