An Avs-P2 Encoding scheme Based on Motion Compensation De-interlacing Information
this paper presents an efficient AVS-P2 encoding scheme which is based on motion compensation de-interlacing information. This scheme uses the similarity between motion compensation of encoding and motion compensation of deinterlacing to reduce the overall computational complexity of encoding system. A system analysis is performed to study this similarity. As a result, we use the information of motion compensation from the de-interlacing to control the encoding process. The experimental results demonstrate this new encoding scheme reduces the computational complexity of AVS-P2 encoder remarkably while the degradation in video quality is negligible.
