Listen to Our Users, What Do They Want from Their Library?-a Report from a U. S. Flagship Academic Library
Every library is committed to improving library services. Better understanding users expectations will help tailor library services to the users needs. This paper summarizes the comments received from the LibQUAL survey completed by users of Texas C University Libraries, reveals changes made to answer users suggestions, and points out areas that need further improvement. Feedback from a specific academic library might very well represent the overall sentiments of all types of library users. Well received services reported in this paper can be emulated, whilst identified problem areas should serve as a reminder for others to avoid.
