Google apps, the software serving as a service in todays cloud computing world, has taken deep root in our daily performance at technical services of Marywood University. Available 24/7, and accessible from anywhere, the online service package enables the staff to conduct various functions, such as computing, messaging, storing, and serving as a database. Designed to promote scalable computing resources, the program has helped deliver an effective collaborative work among the staff, significantly improved communications, facilitated training and resource sharing, and eased departmental management. Since the inception two years ago, the online service has reshaped the performances at technical services in a very positive way, further illuminating how the staff should be better equipped for tomorrow.
