Analysis on the Underlying Factors of Technology Evolution: Mediated by Technology Element
Technology conquering is the key factor of product development in which technology is inheritable and evolutionary. The relationships among technology evolutions underlying factors (such as knowledge, information and intelligence) in product development were discussed by interview and questionnaire. The important findings by regression analysis include: knowledge, information and intelligence are the effective predictors for technology success; technology element was a mediator for the relationship between knowledge and technology success, intelligence and technology success, but technology element was not a mediator for the relationship between information and technology success.
