Image Retrieval Based on Color and Spatial Information

摘要：

Because the use of the image color features missed the spatial information, this paper presents an integrated method: on the one hand,an image is partitioned into overlapped blocks firstly, each block is transformed by these wavelet filters, then we get the low frequencies color information and the color histograms of each bolck; on the other hand,convert the image to grey image and we get the grey-scale feature which contains the shape feature. The experimental results indicate that this method is more efficient.
