Research on management methods of the claim cost clause in Engineering Contract Based on Grey Model
As a special product, engineering products have many risks in the process of production. In order to prevent risks effectively, the proprietor must design claim clause in the contract and cost is the most important among the clauses. Aiming at the management problems of the clause about claim cost in engineering contract, this paper presents using the relevant data of the previous similar projects, according to project schedule and corresponding technical order to divide separated parts of a project, make use of grey model to predict the separated parts of a project cost in the future each stage, and to predict the project total cost, then compare the cost with budget, finally determine quantitative criteria of the claim cost clause in engineering contract, that it provides a new way of thinking for solving the similar project problems.
