Optimization of Equipment Renewal Time Based on the Forecasting Technique

摘要：

Theoretically, any equipment has an optimum life cycle. The optimum life cycle can be educed by Least Average Cost Method. However, the renewal time is missed since it has to be calculated after the next annual operating cost has been recorded. Because of this, it shows forecasting technique is very important. An effective reference for when confirm the optimum renewal time, and how to forecast operating cost of equipment, along with case examples are discussed in this paper.
