Empirical Study on the Relationship Between FDI and the Economic Growth in China

摘要：

Based on the statistic data between 1983 and 2009, this empirical study examines the relationship between FDI and the economic growth in China. The result indicates that there is long-term equilibrium relationship. FDI is one cause of Chinese economic growth when lag length is 3 to 5. Therefore, Chinese government should further optimize the investment environment to attract more foreign investment. As a result, the economic growth in China will be even faster.
