Based on Empirical Study on Evaluating the Value of Life using the Human Capital Approach

摘要：

The economic theory basis and research progress of evaluating the value of life using the human capital approach are reviewed respectively. Some factors, which may affect the validity of the VSL results, are discussed together. According to research status at home and abroad, the paper concludes that the mean value of life is 3.4284 million yuan using the improved assessment model, and analyzes the personal characteristics with the value of life significantly affected.
