An Empirical Analysis of Total Factor Productivity of Shandong Province

摘要：

Since the reform and opening up, Shandong province has experienced rapid economic growth, and its growth rate has been more than the national average. In this paper, according to the quantitative analysis of economic statistical data of Shandong province between 1978 and 2007, the paper calculates the total factor productivity(TFP) and its contribution rate to economic growth of Shandong province and analyze the results of them. This paper believes that Shandongs economic growth mainly depends on total factor productivity and capital promotion.
