Study of the Willingness of Migrant Workers to Participate in and Pay for the Relevant Training: Based on the Data from 30 Enterprises

In this paper, the survey data of the migrant workers from 30 enterprises are taken as an example in Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province. And the Heckman two-step Decision-making model is used to analyze the willingness of migrant workers to participate in and pay for the training. Empirical results show that the willingness to participate in the training is influenced by the factors of working income, attitude, perception of behavior control, and area type. The willingness to pay for the training is influenced by Individual characteristics, pre-training experiences, attitude, and income.
