The Application of Linear Programming on Adjusting Modern Farming and Animal Husbandry Structure
The article is based on a case of adjustment of modern farming and animal husbandry structure, discussing the process of linear programming (LP) in planning regional agriculture development, making models and setting related parameter. First of all, the results show that the planning results have a close relationship with the estimated parameters and the planning model. Then, an important means of changing parameter is strengthening innovation and transformation like increasing crop yield and quality, enhancing the value of products, improving the efficiency of livestock production, reducing consumption, etc.. The results also show that lacking of water resource, which is the biggest barrier for this areas development, needs urgent solution such as regional water facilities funding, saving water in agriculture and improving water-use efficiency. After all, something likes cotton, fruit, sheep, and cattle are future regional development priorities.
