Analysis of Impact on the Willingness to Pay of Ecosystem Service of Panlong River in Kunming City
As an Urban river, Panlong river in Kunming City is the largest one which inflows into Dianchi Lake. However, the ecosystem of the river has been seriously destroyed over the past few years. In this survey, we estimated the ecosystem services value of landscape of Panlong river in Kunming City and analyzed the impact of respondents socio-economic characters on the mean willingness to pay( WTP).With the Contingent Valuation Method(CVM ), 417 questionnaires were issued and 393 ones were taken as valid questionnaires. The result show that the average WTP for ecosystems improving of Panlong River in Kunming City is 63.05 RMB per year. The ecosystem services value of landscape is 4.55×107 RMB per year. And respondents education, family income have impact on the WTP, but the gender, level of knowing the governance information,whether the residents live along Panlong river or not on the average WTP is not obvious.
