An Empirical Analysis of Chinas Fruit Supply
Since the reform and opening up, China has carried out a rapid development in fruit industry in last 20 years, but its level of development is still very backward. The author believes that to achieve a favorable development of Chinas fruit industry requires reasonable solutions through the analysis of Chinas fruit supply and demand. As the length restrictions, this article uses of statistics data of the years of 1990-2008, which only makes an empirical study of the factors affecting Chinas fruit supply. The results show that the relative cost-benefit ratio, the production capacity expressed by technology level and scale, trade and circulation costs, influence on Chinas supply of fruit. The author suggests that it should increase the production scale, and gradually implement a planned production of fruit; and strengthen infrastructure with the market system and other measures to improve Chinas fruit supply.
