Geometric Process Model for a Warm Standby Repairable System with Priority and 3-state
In this paper, we study a warm standby repairable system with 3-state units and one repairman. Assuming that the unit the repair time and life of each have different exponential distribution. Component 1 is given priority but is not as good as new after repair while Component 2 is as good as new. By using geometric process theory and the method of supplementary variable, we obtain some reliability indices such as the Laplace transform of the system reliability and the mean time to the first failure of the system.
