The Empirical Research on the Determinants of the Satisfaction with Public Weather Forecast: Analysis Based on 11180 Questionnaires all around China
Public weather forecast is the important reference news to guide peoples production and life. Based on 11180 questionnaires from Internet, some conclusions are obtained from the research: the report of Public Weather Forecast is generally satisfactory to people, with the average number of 2.27. Based on the Decision Tree Analysis, 7 out of 15 selected possibly influential factors are proved to be very important to peoples satisfactions with Public Weather Forecast. They are the timeliness of weather warning signals; the accuracy of the weather warning signals; the frequency of the everyday informations updating; the accuracy of the following three days weather report; the popularity of weather forecast terms; the accuracy of 24-hour weather forecast; individual host province.
