Does More Education of Teachers Improve Students Performance?-An Empirical Analysis Using the Data of 2006 CNEES
The relation of teachers education and the performance of students in China has not been systematically studied. Becauses of the recent mergers of rural schools,we can apply the method of DID to analysis the effect of the teachers education by using the data of 2006 CNEES. We find that more education of teachers has been improving performance of students.This result means the government should further improve rural teachers education for advancing education quality.
