The Affect on Temperature Sequence and Revision by Meteorological Station Relocation in Shijingshan
The discontinuity of meteorological factors caused by weather station relocation makes it difficult to use meteorological data. Meteorological observation data are important basic information for weather forecasts and climate change analysis. Especially, the analysis of climatic change requires that data has historical continuity. This paper contrasts the dates that observed from old station (Shijingshan) and adjacent station (Fengtai), and then selects appropriate method to continuity correction. It is easily to find that the average annual, maximum and minimum temperatures of the old station are higher than the new station. These results illustrate that the main reason of data series differences are caused by difference geographical not climate change.
