Statistical Modeling Study on Water Quality Assessment of Taihu River

This paper aims to compare cumulative logistic regression methodology with quadratic discriminant analysis methodology on water quality assessment of Taihu River. It can be concluded that under the condition of X-fold cross-validation, cumulative logistic regression outperforms quadratic discriminant analysis, because in this case the cumulative logistic regression provides good robustness and superefficiency.
