To Analyze Appropriate College Enrollment Scale -Based on the per Capita Cultivation Cost
In terms of both the quantity and the structure, the relationship between the enrollment scale of colleges and universities and the per capita cultivation cost should be consistent with the pace of our countrys economic development. In this paper, the writer takes common undergraduate colleges and universities in Jiangxi Province as an example, researching and analyzing their recent years sample data based on the principles of mathematical statistics and cost-volume-profit analysis. The mathematical relationship between the college enrollment scale and the per capita cultivation cost turns out to be a subsection nonlinear regression model. In addition, it is not true that higher the enrollment scale lower the average cost. Therefore, under the premise of the current per capita cultivation cost, the writer suggests that the scale of the majority of colleges and universities in Jiangxi Province should be controlled in a reasonable limit of 20-30 thousand undergraduate.
