A Optimization Approach to Establishing Teaching Posts
In practicing the teacher appointment system, we refer to rational utilization of the present teaching resources. The paper proposes two principles in establishing teaching posts: the economy and the effectiveness. Three mathematical models were developed by integer programming and dynamic programming based on the two principles. The purpose is to raise the economic benefit and teaching effectiveness of the educational system. The analysis of results of a case gives advantage and weakness of the three models. This conclusion is profound instruction for establishing teaching posts.
