Research on Person-organization Fit: A New Management Tool
Person-organization fit is an important construct which is born by organizational behavior and organizational culture, it is a new tool to solve the efficiency problem in the practice of management, This paper researches the concept, the antecedents and consequences of it, it is defined as the congruence between person and organization on the cultural level, including values, goals, personality, and problem-solving style, the organizational recruitment and socialization strategies can affect the shaping of person -organization fit, which can lead to employees positive contextual performance, besides, this paper uses the case of Alibaba to show the meaning of person-organization fit, at last this paper concludes the research frame of it.
