R&D Teams Overseas Embedding and Innovation Performance: An Empirical Study of High-tech Firms of Zhejiang
Under the background of low income of high-tech industry based on the mode of FDI, and Chinese firms gradually lose out in the competition of the high-tech product export; we construct the research model of the relationship overseas embedding of R&D teams of high-tech firms, and innovation performance. Through the empirical study, we find that our R&D teams of high-tech firms are insufficient of oversea embedding, and there are two different but opposite overseas embedding strategies. Based on the strategy of overseas embedding strength, firms can make a follow and imitational innovation mode, and from the strategy of overseas embedding scope, firms can make a combining innovation and domestic market leader mode.
