The Empirical Analysis on Financial Integration of China and Thailand
Based on the theoretical model of regional financial integration judged by domestic and foreign scholars, we choose Japan and South Korea as a reference country in this paper, and comprehensively use correlation analysis, stationarity tests, cointegration tests, employing uncovered interest rate parity (UIP), real interest rate parity (RIP), Euler equation test and Feldstein-Horioka Test for empirical analysis on the degree of financial integration of China and Thailand, Japan and Thailand, South Korea and Thailand. To sum up, we find out the advantages and obstacles of financial integration of China and Thailand by comparison and put forward some countermeasures and suggestions.
