A Measure of Urban-rural Integration and Path Selection: Based on the Analysis of Yantai City
This paper uses urban and rural residents income levels, consumption levels, industrial structure, and urbanization as the main indicators and conducts a correlation analysis of the situation and contribution factors of Yantai urban-rural integration. Its thought in the paper that, in order to speed up the process of urban-rural integration, the measures we must take are as follows: First, to increase the readjustment of industrial structure and to realize the coordinated development of the three major industries; Second, to make the most of a central citys advantage to drive the improvement of agricultural production efficiency in the around regions; Third, to further reduce the farmers burden and make the governments financial expenditures vigorously incline to rural areas.
