Stratified Two-stage Cluster Sampling on the Greenberg Model for Sensitive Question Survey
The randomized response technique (RRT) was designed to eliminate distortions of answers and refusals to respond to sensitive questions. In this paper, combining RRT with Cochran W. Gs classic sampling theory, we deduced formulas for the estimation of the population proportion and its variance for dichotomous sensitive questions on Greenberg RRT model in stratified two-stage cluster sampling situation. In addition, the method was employed successfully in a survey of premarital sexual behavior among students of Soochow University and its validity was also discussed.
