Interval Estimation for Exponential Distribution Parameters with Non-failure Data
Products of high reliability usually show the non-failure characteristic within a given period. A novel method is proposed to cope with non-failure data in the condition of exponential distribution Exp(λ): according to Cox advice, we first give the approximate distribution of total experimental time; then the interval estimation of total parameter is presented. We also test its performance in practical problems.
