Relationship of Co-integration between External Trade and Economic Growth

摘要：

According to theoretical co-integration, the relationship of economic growth and foreign trade is analyzed. The results show that, in the long run, the relationship of stable balance exists between economic growth and exports, imports. Both of them promote economic growth significantly, which are an important reason for economic growth. And two-way causal relationship exists between them. Therefore, the expansion of exports should be used to stimulate economic growth; at the same time, imports should also be expanded in order to promote economic development and exports.
