A Study on Investment Strategy in Western China IT Industry -Take Chongqing Municipality as Example
This thesis analyzes, with the regard of investors needs and concerns, the development of the IT industry in Western China in the status quo with the method of empirical comparison and instance analysis. Taking Chongqing Municipality as example, it carries out an in-depth study on the competitive edge, and opportunities and challenges facing the development of IT in Western China. On this basis, it discusses the relevant preferential policies made by the nation and Chongqing Municipality in order to attract foreign investment. And finally this report puts forward proposals on the key areas and forms of IT investment. As a result, the author believes that specialization strategy, diversification strategy, capital strategy and global strategy are the ways to the success for Western China IT industry.
