Empirical Analysis of the Economic Growth Convergence of Hohhot-Baotou-Ordos Economic Region
Based on traditional neoclassical convergence theory, framed by growth regression method, this paper introduces panel data of Hohhot, Baotou, Ordos from 1978 to 2008 and discusses the problems of convergence of regional economic growth. To solve the problem of imbalance of regional economic development we need to improve market-oriented level further, devote our major efforts to developing education, investment more human capital, bring our comparative advantages into play, cooperate in the development and try for mutual benefits and success.
