An Explore on the Measurement Methods of Regional Advantageous Industries and Their Application: Taking Hubei Province as an Example

Comparing commonly used measurement methods of advantageous industries, the paper, firstly, establishes evaluation index system form five major aspects, industrial scale, economic benefit, industry specialization, market demand and industry competitiveness, and then set up evaluation model of regional advantageous industries with principal components analysis. At last, selected Hubei Province as a case, conduct empirical analysis and conclude some futures of changes of advantageous industries.
