An Ecology-technology Innovation Based Urban Niche Expansion Estimation --A Case Study of Hebei Province
The 21~(st) century is a century of ecology. The human society is moving gradually from the industrial society towards the ecological society, and the next round of international competition is the competition of ecological environment. The existed researches show that the actual situation of the urbanization process is not ecological, while the inevitable tendency of urbanization after eco-awakening is ecological. What makes these two depart from each other is precisely the technology innovation—profit axis as the social development impetus. The urban niche is a resources and environment space made up of multi-dimensional factors. The urban niche theory includes the main points of urban niche potential, urban niche overlap and depart, and urban niche expansion and condense. Based on the viewpoint of ecology-technology innovation, this thesis establishes an urban niche expansion estimation index system, and a principal component analysis and a cluster analysis of the urban niche expansion situations in Hebei Province are done by using this index system assisted by SPSS, in order to achieve the goals of providing theory foundation and practice instruction for the urban niche formation and the urban sustainable development.
