Layout Settings of Stations Ticket Windows Based on M/M/1 Model
By studying the problems of layout settings of stations ticket windows with the queueing models of M/M/l, we set and adjust the number of windows scientificly and rationally, with the changing of the arrive rate λ,. We have controlled W_(Qi), the average amount of time a passenger spends waiting in queue, and L_(Q), the average number of passengers waiting in the ticketing hall, more effectively.
