Research on Risk Identification of the Liner Shipping Based on the Model of Principal Component and Logit
Container liner shipping is high risky industries, and the liner shipping enterprises face a lot of risky factors, hence, how to identify the risks correctly is the precondition of comprehensive risk management for the liner shipping enterprises. In this article, with the samples that based on the data of the route Europe-the Far East of OOCL from January, 2008 to March, 2010, we build the model of Principal Component and Logit, and then we examine them with the data of April, 2010, it turns out that this two models can identify the risks effectively, and wishing that it will give the liner shipping enterprises a reference when they identify the risks.
