The Method of Two Branch Diagram in Establishing Structure Model of In-tree for System Dynamics
Two Branch Diagram method is one of the important methods in establishing structure modeling of In-tree for System Dynamics. In the original Two Branch Diagram method, it has only showed the relationship of Stock variable influence on Rate variable, without involving the relationship of Rate variable influence on Rate variable. Whether or not such influence should be added? Or only have the relationship of Rate variable influence on Rate variable. This paper presents a new method and a simple inventory model example is suggested for theory analysis and simulation analysis. The analysis results show that to add in the relationship of Rate variable influence on Rate variable or only have the relationship of Rate variable influence on Rate variable, both of methods can effectively reduce the oscillation behavior of system. So the new Two Branch Diagram method is more effective.
